Sports Betting
Badminton is more than just a sport in Malaysia – it's part of who we are. At mtown88, we bring you a thrilling badminton betting experience with the best odds, the most comprehensive markets, and an interface that's easy to navigate. From the BWF World Tour to the Malaysia Open, we've always got you covered.
Ongoing Matches
Bet on live or upcoming badminton matches. Odds are refreshed every few seconds in real time.
If there's one sport that truly unites Malaysians from Perlis to Sabah, it's badminton. We've all woken up in the early hours just to watch Lee Chong Wei battle it out in the All England final. We've screamed at our TVs when Malaysia defeated Indonesia in the Thomas Cup. And now, a new generation of players — Lee Zii Jia, Ng Tze Yong, and our mixed doubles pairs — continues to fly the flag on the world stage.
At mtown88, we understand how much badminton means to the Malaysian community. That's why we've invested in building the most comprehensive and user-friendly badminton betting platform in the country. It's not just about setting odds and letting players bet — we've created a complete experience that includes up-to-date match information, player statistics, head-to-head records, and a wide range of betting markets to help you make smarter decisions.
When you register at mtown88, you gain access to over 200 badminton markets covering every tier of BWF tournament — from Super 1000 all the way down to Super 300. We offer odds for men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. Every market is updated in real time so you always have access to the latest and most competitive odds.
Many people ask — what sets badminton betting at mtown88 apart from other platforms? The answer is simple: we built this platform with Malaysian users in mind, first and foremost. Among other things, we provide live streaming coverage for major tournaments, letting you follow every match as it unfolds while adjusting your bets in real time. This in-play betting feature is especially popular among experienced bettors, as it lets you react directly to the momentum of a match.
Mtown88 also offers flexible betting limits – whether you're a casual player looking to put down RM10 for the fun of it, or a serious bettor staking larger amounts. Our low minimum bet means everyone can join in without feeling pressured. And when you win, your funds are processed quickly – no waiting days on end, usually within 5 minutes.
Mtown88 covers virtually all of the world's major badminton tournaments. For Malaysian badminton fans, that means you can bet on almost every match you follow with passion. From the most prestigious Super Series Premier events like All England, Indonesia Open, and China Open, to team championships like the Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, and Sudirman Cup — it's all available at mtown88.
The Malaysia Open is naturally our biggest focus. Every year when the Malaysia Open takes place at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, our betting markets are more active than ever. The overwhelming support Malaysians show for home-grown players makes the betting atmosphere especially electric and emotionally charged. mtown88 also offers special odds and exclusive promotions tied to these major tournaments.

Market Options
Not all platforms offer a wide variety of markets. mtown88 goes beyond just "who wins" — we provide deeper options for the more strategic bettor.
Pick the player or team you think will win the match. The most straightforward and most popular market among new bettors.
When one player is clearly stronger, the set handicap market levels the playing field. Choose whether the underdog can win more sets than expected.
Predict whether the match will wrap up in 2 sets (straight sets) or go to a thrilling third. This market is independent of who wins.
Bet while the match is in progress. Odds shift with the live action — the best opportunities for bettors who can read the game.
Predict the champion of a tournament before it begins. Higher odds, bigger returns – ideal for players who follow the tournament schedule closely.
Predict the exact score of each set – for example, 21-15, 21-18. A high-risk market, but the odds are very attractive for players with in-depth knowledge.

Useful Tips
Badminton is played in a best-of-3 sets format, with each set going up to 21 points. Understand the difference between group-stage matches and knockout rounds – your betting strategy should be adjusted accordingly for each format.
Head-to-head records between two players can be incredibly useful. Some players consistently outperform certain opponents regardless of ranking – this information is available on mtown88's statistics page.
Badminton is a physically demanding sport. A player who has competed in 3 matches over 2 days may not be at their best. Always check the match schedule before placing a bet.
Sometimes a stronger player starts slow before finding their rhythm. Wait until the first set is done before placing a live bet – you may get better odds with more information at hand.
Many bettors focus solely on men's singles. Yet the doubles markets — especially Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles — often offer more attractive odds precisely because fewer bettors participate in them.
This isn't just financial advice — it's smart betting strategy. Decide how much you're willing to stake per match and stick to that limit, no matter how confident you feel.
Getting started with betting on mtown88 is designed to be as straightforward as possible. Once registered, you can make a deposit using a variety of local Malaysian payment methods. Select a tournament, choose a match, pick your bet type, enter your amount, and confirm – the whole process takes less than a minute.
For more experienced members, mtown88 offers an accumulator (multi-bet) slip feature that lets you combine multiple selections into a single bet for higher potential returns. There's something special about cheering on a Malaysian player while also having a stake in the outcome. At mtown88, you're not just a passive spectator — you become part of a thrilling betting experience. When Lee Zii Jia fights back after dropping the first set and goes on to win, the elation hits twice as hard when you have a bet riding on him.
The mtown88 platform also provides real-time match statistics – including total points per set, service success rate, and player momentum. This is invaluable for making more accurate in-play betting decisions. We also offer pre-match analysis written in Bahasa Malaysia to make it easier to follow.
